2018 continues to be a strong year for our warehousing operations and, as a result, further changes to our staff structure have been necessary.
Pleasingly, one of our most recent promotions has recognised the talents within our existing team highlighting our commitment to staff development and training to further career prospects within the business. Meanwhile, a new recruit with extensive previous industry knowledge has joined us.
Chris Pimperton joined the business four years ago as a warehouse operative and has been promoted to warehouse manager. With full responsibility for all warehouse operations, Chris is also completing an advanced apprenticeship in Logistics and Operation Management with our preferred training partner, North Notts College.
In addition, Andy Shaw has been employed as a contracts account manager due to the securing of a new contract supporting a significant provider of snacks to the entertainment industry. Andy will manage a full logistics solution from point of manufacturer to the national distribution and supply chain.
“We are delighted that continued growth has necessitated in these new opportunities for both an existing member of our team and given us a chance to recruit adding resilience to the team,” said Graham White Group Operations Manager Carlton Forest Group. “We shall look forward to creating similar vacancies in the future especially as our expansion plans begin in 2019.”
