There are many facets to the Carlton Forest Group offering a wide variety of career options, however, for the first time, a Legal Manager has been welcomed to the team for a short placement between completing University and commencing a solicitors training contract.
Joe Girgis, 23, from Worksop joined the team on a short term basis to assist with the reviewing of contracts and put in place procedures for the IRR side of the business as it continues to grow and diversify.
After qualifying from Lancaster University with a First Class Honours Degree in Law, he undertook a Masters and Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Manchester. This was followed by a year which saw him gain industry experience in the banking and financial law sector. Since then Joe has secured a training contract with Gateley Legal at its Nottingham Office which commences in the early part of 2021 with a view to specialising in corporate law eventually.
When Joe is not working hard to establish his career, he enjoys playing football, supporting Liverpool FC, enjoying the British countryside, and socialising with friends and family.
“This has been a great opportunity to explore another area of Law and to enjoy managing my own workload, work schedule and the satisfaction of seeing projects through to completion,” said Joe. “The Carlton Forest team have made me really welcome and I’ve enjoyed being part of a team where people trust each other to do their jobs completely and professionally. It’s been a great working environment to experience.”
