Funding has recently been received from Yorkshire Bank to drive our growth and ongoing success.
£4 million was granted after a strategic consultation with the Yorkshire Bank team which saw a business growth plan outlined the core elements of which was to bring jobs to the region, secure larger contracts and ensure the long-term future of this prosperous business within the North Nottinghamshire and regional business economy.
“Receiving this funding will allow us to execute our long-term business vision which was to become one of the premier warehouse, distribution and logistics groups in the region and to increase our presence as a significant employer in the local region,” said Kerry Neath Chief Financial Officer Carlton Forest Group LLP. “The investment comes after a period of growth that has led to increased demand from existing and new customers. CFG will use part of the funding to continue investment in its state-of-the-art technology which enables real-time tracking of stock items and distribution fulfilment.”
One area of our business that has enjoyed significant growth is the co-packing element, particularly in the food industry, which has seen the group secure major contracts during the recent festive season and into 2017. This facility was recently recognised when we were proud to be awarded the BRC Global Standard for Storage and Distribution, an internationally-acclaimed accreditation for best practice in handling storage and distribution of products.
